The directors of NETPIX are Lynton Radloff (Managing Director) and Ciska Everson (Marketing Director).
NETPIX is a newly established non-profit company dedicated to making a positive impact within the netball community. Through exciting monthly competitions with cash prizes, participants have the opportunity to win while directly contributing to underprivileged netball players in need of uniforms, shoes, clothing, and essential equipment. Every valid entry helps support athletes and clubs so they can continue pursuing their passion for the sport with the proper gear and assistance they deserve.
1. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- 1.1. "Entry" means the online entry form available at https://staging.dionteq.com, which must be fully completed together with the upload of a qualifying Star Photo.
- 1.2. "Participant", "Entrant" or "You" means the person who completes and submits the entry form together with the required photo and description.
- 1.3. "Promoter" means NETPIX (Pty) Ltd, including any authorised agencies or service providers used to promote or administer the competition.
- 1.4. "Star Photo" means the photograph entered into the competition, including but not limited to categories such as Best Action Shot or Funniest Midcourt Blooper.
2. Competition Duration
- 2.1. The competition will run from the first day until the last day of each calendar month.
- 2.2. Winners will be selected and announced no later than the 7th day of the following month.
- 2.3. Example: Entries submitted during May will have winners announced by 7 June.
3. Eligibility and Participation
- 3.1. This competition is conducted by the Promoter and its third-party contractors.
- 3.2. The following persons may not participate:
- Directors of NETPIX
- Employees
- Agents
- Consultants
- Spouses, life partners, or business partners of the above
- Immediate family members of the above
- 3.3. The competition is open only to legal residents of South Africa.
- 3.4. Prize winners must provide:
- Full name
- South African ID number or Permanent Residence number
- Valid banking details for prize payment
- 3.5. For entrants under the age of 18, a parental consent affidavit together with the parent/guardian's ID and banking details must be submitted before any prize is paid.
- 3.6. By entering or voting in the competition, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- 3.7. By entering, you also consent to NETPIX contacting you via SMS, email, or telephone for matters relating to the competition.
4. How to Enter
- 4.1. Entry is free.
- 4.2. Only one Star Photo per entrant per month may be submitted.
- 4.3. For an entry to be valid, you must:
- Complete the entry form fully and truthfully
- Submit a clear and suitable photograph
- Ensure the uploaded content complies with the category requirements
- 4.4. NETPIX will not be liable for technical failures, internet interruptions, upload issues, or system errors that result in unsuccessful submissions.
5. Social Media Disclaimer
- 5.1. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter/X.
- 5.2. By participating, you release these platforms from any liability relating to the competition.
- 5.3. All information submitted is provided to NETPIX, and not to these social media platforms.
6. Prize Pool
- 6.1. The standard total monthly prize pool value is R2,000, unless otherwise stated for a specific promotional month, depending on target reached.
- 6.2. This consists of:
- 1st Prize: R1,500 cash + Photo Shoot Voucher
- 2nd Prize: R500 cash + Photo Shoot Voucher
- 6.3. NETPIX reserves the right to introduce additional monthly promotional prizes.
7. Prize Redemption
- 7.1. Prizes will be issued within a reasonable time after winner verification, identity confirmation, banking verification, and confirmation of compliance with all rules.
- 7.2. Certain prize conditions may apply, including voucher validity periods and booking restrictions.
- 7.3. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for alternative items unless NETPIX decides otherwise.
- 7.4. If a winner does not claim a prize within 30 days, the prize may be forfeited and re-awarded.
8. Winner Selection and Voting Rules
8.1. Winner Determination
- 8.1.1. The Top 2 entrants with the highest number of valid votes at the close of the competition will be selected as winners in descending order.
- 8.1.2. Votes may be cast by the entrant, family, friends, and the general public.
8.2. Elimination Rounds
- 8.2.1. There may be up to three elimination rounds during the month until only the Top 20 entrants remain.
- 8.2.2. After the first elimination round, the Top 50 leader board may be displayed.
- 8.2.3. Leader board positions may change continuously as votes are received.
- 8.2.4. Only entrants remaining within the required rankings will qualify for prize eligibility where applicable.
8.3. Vote Reflection
- 8.3.1. Votes may take up to 3 hours to reflect on an entrant's profile.
- 8.3.2. NETPIX will not be liable for delays caused by banking systems, payment gateways, network downtime, or mobile service providers.
- 8.3.3. All votes received before 23:59 on the closing date will be included in the final tally.
8.4. Winner Notification
- 8.4.1. Winners will be announced on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and the NETPIX website by the 7th day of the following month.
- 8.4.2. Winners will also be contacted by telephone, SMS, and email.
- 8.4.3. NETPIX will make three attempts over 72 hours to contact a winner.
- 8.4.4. If unsuccessful, NETPIX reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
- 8.4.5. Incorrect contact details may result in forfeiture.
8.5. Publicity
- 8.5.1. Winners may be requested to participate in publicity, media interviews, promotional photos, or social media content.
- 8.5.2. By accepting the prize, winners grant NETPIX permission to use their name, photographs, winning Star Photo, and likeness for promotional purposes.
- 8.5.3. A winner may decline additional publicity requests where reasonable.
- 8.5.4. No additional payment or compensation will be made for publicity, interviews, social media appearances, or promotional campaigns outside the prize awarded.
8.6. Voting Purchases, Cooling-Off and Refunds
- 8.6.0. Cooling-off disclosure (ECTA s44) — Credits are a digital product loaded to your wallet immediately on payment. By completing a top-up you expressly request that the service be performed immediately and acknowledge that your statutory 7-day cooling-off right under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002 does not apply to credits that have already been used to cast votes. Unused credits (loaded but not yet spent on votes) may be refunded within 7 days of purchase on written request to info@netpix.co.za, less any payment-processing costs incurred.
- 8.6.1. Once credits have been spent on votes, those votes are non-refundable.
- 8.6.2. If votes are mistakenly allocated to the wrong unique code, participants may contact NETPIX with proof of payment and correct entrant details.
- 8.6.3. NETPIX may, at its discretion, reallocate the votes once funds have cleared.
9. Charity Contribution
- 9.1. NETPIX will donate 60% of monthly profits, or a minimum of R2,500 where no profit is generated, towards supporting underprivileged netball players and clubs.
- 9.2. Donation amounts may be publicly announced on Facebook, the NETPIX website, and promotional campaigns.
10. General Legal Rules
10.1. Limitation of Liability
By participating, you agree that NETPIX shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, claim, or expense arising from participation in the competition.
10.2. Force Majeure
NETPIX will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
10.3. Amendments
NETPIX reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by publishing revised terms on the competition website or official communication channels.
10.4. Tax
Any tax liability arising from the prize remains the sole responsibility of the winner.
10.5. Governing Law
This competition is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
10.6. Processing of Personal Information
- 10.6.1. By entering, participants consent to NETPIX collecting and processing personal information for competition administration, prize fulfilment, winner verification, and marketing communication (where consent is given).
- 10.6.2. All processing will comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
10.7. Competition Termination
NETPIX reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition immediately where required by law, regulation, fraud prevention, or technical reasons.
10.8. Personal Information Security
- 10.8.1. NETPIX confirms compliance with POPIA and reasonable security safeguards.
- 10.8.2. NETPIX does not store credit card or payment card details on its systems.
